Studiously ignore the snow in the background, otherwise you'll get depressed for me. Instead, focus on the beauties in front, and you'll be happy for me.

- I am a 29-year-old mother of two. Oh, did I say 29? I meant 32. Uh, 35. My kids are Nicky (5) and Laney (3). I'm American. My husband Seven is Norwegian. We live in Norway. I was born in Washington State, graduated from high school and college in Hawaii and lived in several other places in between and after. I've lived in five states, three countries (on three different continents). I speak one language fluently and two others brokenly. Well, we thought we could lose the hats too - but now are having a blizzard!!! 8-16 inches expected overnight. Seriously, this is insane. We just got rid of hte snow last week - and it's back. Crazy MN.

Poor you, Jody! I feel bad that you just had a blizzard, but I don't feel so alone in the cold weather world. :) We essentially had a blizzard last week. Luckily, at this time of year, the new snow melts off pretty fast. Nicky has actually been getting pretty down about the weather. Just when we think spring is coming, we'll get a light sprinkling of snow. "Why won't it stop snowing?" You've got me kiddo! So I'm sending some warm weather vibes your way, Jody! Coming from this part of the world, they are essentially useless, but it's the thought that counts! :)
I actually wrote the second post first. I just had to change the time stamp to get it in the right order. This week is supposed to be a good weather week, so I'll get some more pics up soon! (And no more short shorts!)
