First, the new floor had to go in. Then the walls had to be painted. Then the door frames. Then the -- I don't know what it's called, but it was near the ceiling and an awful red horror that had to go. Then the stairs that led into the entry. Then the. . .
Will it NEVER end?
Next is the kitchen, which will be a real nightmare.
I am trying to enjoy the house renovation.
I am failing miserably.
Anyway, we found this old wallpaper and are using it to cover the floor, so as not to get paint splashes on the new floor. Can you believe that once upon a time, stores actually sold this product as something you might wish to cover your walls with??
How about this beauty?
Sad thing is that I think it must be circa 1970s or so. This means it may be back in fashion very soon and covering the walls of your loved ones homes!

i'm always amazed by the acid influence on everything coming out of the 1970s! were that many people on drugs that it just became accepted to use acid trips as decor? i mean, it was so mainstream!!! just look at pop art. i guess it's the old question (but in reverse), does life imitate art?
anyway, i like the second one. i'm not sure i'd wallpaper a whole room with it, but i'd definitely frame a section of it for the living room.

Some things really should be left to the past. :) Everyone dropping acid in the 70's at least gives them an excuse for decorating their house as such and adorning their bodies with similar prints.
If you want, I'll cut out a little piece of the second and send it to you for your living room! :)
YES! Send me a 1 foot by 1 foot square, please! :) Shakuntala will love it, I'm sure...
I'll be sure to include a square with a few paint splashes. It'll add sort of a modern art effect, and I'm POSITIVE your girlfriend will love it.
